Latina Business Incubator

Strategies for Building

Join us in supporting Latina entrepreneurs through our Business Incubator Program! This initiative aims to equip Latina professionals in the Greater Houston area with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to succeed as business owners. Through a series of comprehensive classes and workshops, participants will learn essential skills such as business planning, marketing strategies, and financial management.

Addressing Barriers to Accessing Capital

Many minority entrepreneurs face significant barriers when seeking traditional bank loans, often being denied financing regardless of their creditworthiness or business acumen. One common obstacle is the lack of a formal Limited Liability Company (LLC) structure and a well- developed business plan. Without these essential elements, entrepreneurs may find themselves excluded from accessing the capital they need to start or grow their businesses.

Closing the Gap with Our Business Incubator Program

At Power on Heels Fund, Inc™, we recognize the importance of addressing these barriers and leveling the playing field for all entrepreneurs, regardless of their background. Our Business Incubator Program is designed to empower minority entrepreneurs, particularly Latina professionals, by providing them with the education, resources, and support they need to succeed. By covering the cost of LLC filing and providing hands-on assistance with paperwork, we aim to remove financial and administrative obstacles that often hinder minority entrepreneurs from accessing capital.
